Learn To Do Good Campaign

It’s a scary time for lots of people at the moment, and as a company focused on inclusion, we’re keenly aware of it. We want to spread good as far as we can in these difficult times, so we are launching our Learn To Do Good campaign, a collaboration in which we are offering to provide hosting for a number of short courses for free on our learning platform (like this one). This is a platform we pay for ourselves, but want the good it does to go a bit further.

Who can get involved?

We are looking for individuals, small companies and charities who want to develop 60 minute micro-courses that do social good, including:

  • DEI topics

  • Inclusive education

  • Environmentalism

The most important thing to us is that you’re an expert in what you’re writing about, and you’re happy to write a detailed outline of the content. Ideally you’ll have done some learning design or education work before, and you’d be happy to film yourself for the session intros - but it’s far more important to us that you’re passionate and informed about what you’re doing. We can work around the rest as a team.

How will it work?

We want this to be a collaboration, so we are aiming to partner with other small businesses and individuals who might not have the resources or expertise to launch this kind of thing alone. In short, your contribution would be to bring the ideas and draft the content; our contribution would be to make it happen by developing it into cohesive learning content (including interactive resources), hosting it on our platform for the world to access, and covering all the costs.

We are keen to make sure that this collaboration is fair and not exploitative. We think transparency is important, so we want to be clear from the start what you get out of this, and what we get out of this. You can find read this in detail in our guide.

How can I find out more/express my interest?

You can find out more by reading through our guide, which covers the campaign agreements and technical elements in more detail. If you have further questions, or would like to express your interest in participating, please email us at contact@jackafal.com.
